1. Information We Collect

When you use itsfolio, we collect minimal information required to provide our service:

Resume Data: When you upload a resume, our AI backend processes the content to generate your portfolio.
Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.
Portfolio Metadata: We store the structured data extracted from your resume to display your portfolio.

2. Data Usage & Processing

Your resume is processed temporarily to generate structured JSON data. We use this data solely to render your portfolio themes.

We do not sell your personal data or resume content to third parties. We do not use your resume data to train global AI models.

3. Data Retention & Expiry

Temporary Portfolios

Portfolios generated without an account (temporary links) are stored for **48 hours**. After this period, the record and all associated resume data are automatically and permanently deleted from our database.

Permanent Portfolios

If you create an account, your portfolio data is stored securely in your profile. You can delete your portfolio or your entire account at any time from the dashboard.

4. Third-Party Services

We leverage trusted partners to provide our infrastructure:

Supabase: For secure database storage and authentication.
Google OAuth: For secure sign-in.
Upstash: For rate limiting and preventing abuse.

5. Your Rights
